Dear all,

On behalf of the IAIE (International Association for Intercultural Education) I would like to formally invite you to Amsterdam for the 4th meeting of the Grundtvig project 'Using traditional and new media to increase the impact of adult education initiatives to fight prejudice, xenophobia and discrimination'.

This meeting will take place at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam on Tuesday, August 27 and Wednesday, August 28. The mostly likely arrival date for most will be Monday, August 26. Since many need to return to their respective jobs I can confirm that the meeting will run until about 1.30 pm on Wednesday, August 28. This implies that participants can leave late in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 28.

The IAIE will provide lunch on Tuesday, August 27 and Wednesday, August 28 and dinner on Tuesday, August 27.

Since you have been to Amsterdam before I believe you are familiar with the hotels that 'HiA the Netherlands' suggested. For those who felt the prices where you stayed were too high (a few have mentioned this), let me also recommend the following two hotels. The prices are very reasonable there. Please realize that hotel prices are expensive and the more affordable hotels get booked early so I would not wait too long.

Hotel van Onna

This hotel is a 3 minute walk from the Anne Frank House and in the Jordaan neighborhood

This is in the trendy 'De Pijp' neighborhood and is a 15 minute tram ride away from the Anne Frank House.

Both have basic facilities but are comfortable places to stay.

More info will follow about program etc.

Best wishes
